The AUSiot Monitor

The AUSiot Monitor incorporates technology that monitors and records utility usage in real time and communicates this information via the AUSiot Gateway to the AUSiot Software Services.

The monitor provides costeffective, efficient and reliable communications to onsite meters, be they water, electricity or gas meters. The monitor’s physical interface accommodates interchangeable input types, such as reed switches, digital pulse or analogue input. The AUSiot Monitors are configured to transmit their data at fixed time intervals, this interval can range from seconds to days.

The AUSiot Gateway

The AUSiot Gateway provides an interface for transmitting information between the AUSiot Monitors and the Automated Utility System servers.

  • Various Gateway Options

    Versions include variations for indoor, outdoor and low end environments.

  • Data Security

    Encrypted data is passed through the gateway without being processed.

  • Data Transmission

    Options include 2G, 3G and 4G LTE mobile, wifi or a direct internet connection.

The AUSiot Gateways process all relevant radio signals transmitted from any deployed AUSiot Monitors that are within range. The AUSiot Gateways transfer this collected data to the AUSiot Services software utilising a number of different communication mediums.
